Thanks to all who came out tonight for the ice cream social at the Goose Rocks Beach Community House.  It was a lot of fun.

Lobster Bake

My daughter Chrissy took these today while we were at a lobster bake.  Lobster Bakes are a good way to enjoy good friends & drinks while visiting Goose Rocks Beach!

Surf & Turf

River Tree Arts has an opening reception on Friday August 10th for the Surf & Turf Show. The opening reception is from 5-7PM featuring local beer, outdoor grill, small batch ice cream tastings from Arundel Ice Cream & live music. Three of Chrissy's pieces made it into the show. Be sure to stop by to check it out! The show runs until September 22nd.

Chrissy, shoot these while talking a walk at Goose Rocks today.  She was shocked to see a dingy washed up at "the point".  The ocean was very warm too. A lovely August day.

GRBA Art Show

For all those who are looking for an evening out in the Kennebunkport area, there's an art show at the Goose Rocks Beach Association's Community House in Goose Rocks this Saturday August 4, 2012 from 5-8PM. My daughter, Chrissy, will be featuring her photography with cards, matted prints, framed prints & a canvas wrap too.  It's worth your time to check out the show & to support local artists! Those were the days! Bob "Buzzy" Anuszewski, Kathy Sheehan- Casey,Tom Anuszewski and Jean Cooper stand in front of the Tides Inn at Goose Rocks Beach in 1966. The Anuszewski Family owned the Tides Inn back in the 1960's & came up with the name "Tides Inn" by T.E. Anuszewski.

 Lisa is a third generation summer resident of Goose Rocks Beach, who now lives here in Maine year round with her husband and two children. She is eager to share her knowledge of this very special Southern Maine coastal area, and its unique history with you. An avid reader, and community volunteer Lisa serves on the board of trustees at the Graves Memorial Library in Kennebunkport. Lisa’s combined experience as both a summer, and a year round resident of the Kennebunk's provides her with a comprehensive perspective to assist you with your real estate needs.




                                                              Shelley Wigglesworth

 Shelley is a fourth generation Kennebunk, Maine native, who is also a writer for local newspapers The York County Coast Star and Tourist News as well as for the Maine Lobstermen Association and Yankee Magazine. She enjoys gardening and is a Maine Master Gardener. During the school year she is a reading tutor at Kennebunk Elementary School. She is the proud mother of two great kids-Thomas age 20, and Alissa age 17.
